Owner and operator Jon Langhan has a passion for Japanese performance cars and a dedication to his business that is second to none!

Driven originally came about as a car club that Jon and his partner Megan started in 2006 during his apprenticeship. They were hooked on Japanese performance, the thrill of modifying and testing the results… and well, nothing has changed! Jon started his apprenticeship in early 2004 and it wasn’t long until he fell in love with AWD platforms. Being exposed to Ralliart products from the start, it was natural to fall in love with the Evo products. Thanks to his competitive nature and thirst for knowledge he quickly proved his worth, always excelling and in time becoming a Ralliart trained mechanic. Throughout his time at the dealership he strived to learn more; always working with and on mates cars, more often than not Subaru, Evo and Skyline… in that order. I love the friendly rivalry between EJ and 4G guys!

Once he hit the learning ceiling of the dealership, he studied for his cert IV Training and Assessment with the goal of being a TAFE lecturer to help shape the trade I love. At the right place and time, he landed the dream TAFE gig… awesome learning opportunities, great holidays and even better pay; all while working on the nights/weekends honing his skills and building a client base. He once again hit the ceiling in 2012 with the only promotion being behind a desk… so what better way to make sure he never got bored again than to go into business for himself. Driven Motorsport was born.

Originally located at 1/23 Playford Crescent, Salisbury North – Driven fast became known for great work, customer service, fair pricing and honest advice. Jon loves what he does, and takes pride in everything he does and it shows in the work. Instilling the same values in Jamie his young Jedi Padawan. Jon understands that to most, cars are the second if not the first most expensive possession. The one vice, our release. He will respect your car as much as you do and understands the fact that his clients drive some distance and past other mechanics to allow him to look after their pride and joy, he will not take this for granted. I am glad to say that the Subaru community has really embraced Driven. Driven Motorsport is now the solution to performance Subaru north of the city. The EJ learning curve has been steep but they have been able to produce some quality street and competition vehicles with multiple class leading cars. Driven has a strong social side to the business, regularly holding meets, cruises and track days.
